Quiara is so thrilled to invite you to see her new play, The Happiest Song Plays Last, beginning performances on February 11 in New York city and running through March 23.

The play is about two cousins—one who lives in North Philly, cooks meals for her hungry neighbors, throws great holiday parrandas (parties) and unexpectedly finds herself leading a community boycott. The other cousin is on a movie set in Jordan, unexpectedly thrust into a starring role, as the Egyptian revolution unfolds two countries away. It’s about protest, family, la musica, and the never-ending quest to enjoy this life we’re given. The play is directed by Ruben Santiago-Hudson and features a live trio of musicians led by master cuatro player Nelson Gonzales. It features an extraordinary cast.

Please join her for this special play that is very close to her heart.
