Creating Impact

Professional Development Workshops designed and delivered by The Wilma Theater and Philadelphia Young Playwrights to strengthen leadership, collaboration and innovation in your workplace.
Experienced professional facilitators from the Wilma and Young Playwrights – two local organizations acclaimed for innovation, impact and quality – will work with you to foster big-picture thinking, originality, imagination, collaboration, innovation – all essential drivers for you and your company to maximize impact in the global economy. We offer the following experiential workshops:

• Innovation Strategies
Lead robustly and bring out the best in your team by discovering and applying the most creative solutions.  Improvisational techniques will teach you to sharpen focus and better leverage “being in the moment.” Our  constructive brainstorming activities will enhance spontaneity, risk-taking and problem-solving in change situations where they are needed most.

• Intentional Leadership
Find your voice and focus it intentionally to strengthen your profile as a leader and visionary thinker.   On-your-feet and writing-based activities will help you walk away with a better grasp and control of “charisma,” “emotional intelligence” and “coaching.” Our focus on presentation skills and building buy-in will help you influence and motivate up, down and across your organization.

• Communication Strategies
Develop and take away strengthened interpersonal skills — projecting presence, developing “active listening,” selling your ideas — essential to workplace dynamics, speechmaking, written communications and career success.

• Team Building
Learn to create, lead and work in an environment that maximizes group energy and creativity. Participants will practice and take away strategies for keeping their perspectives while valuing those of others, staying flexible and responsive, building trust and capitalizing on the opportunities healthy collaboration can bring.

Each program includes practical strategies for implementing skills in your work environment.
• Individual and group follow-up consultations can extend each workshop’s impact.
• We offer programs of varying lengths for up to 25 participants at affordable rates.
• Enhance your group’s experience by adding dinner and a performance at the Wilma!
