JOIN US for the first-ever public sharing from Performing Identities, a collaboration between Philadelphia Young Playwrights and The Colored Girls Museum. Since the fall, participants and their teaching artists have learned researching techniques, visited art and archive collections, and met with primary sources. Now, they will share performative pieces illustrating the "colored girls" presence/impact on one of the following locations in Germantown:
  • Germantown YWCA
  • Ile Ife
  • Women's Medical College (Legacy Center)
  • Ivy Leaf School
This event is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE AT
