Resident Teaching Artist
Steve Gravelle is a teaching artist, director and playwright based in Philadelphia. He teaches in residence for Philly Young Playwrights, 1812 Productions, Enchantment Theatre, and Theatre Horizon. He was the co-creator of the SoLow Festival hit sweating/sleeping, and creator/cook of A Brief History Of Food, Augusta ME To Philadelphia PA, 1983 to the Present; Or, Let Me Cook You Dinner. Originally from New Hampshire, Steve has called Philadelphia home since 2006. Co-recipient of the 2015 Adele Magner Memorial Award. A proud graduate of Keene State College with bachelor’s degrees in Theatre and English, as well as the Arden Professional Apprentice program.
