Emily Moylan

Resident Teaching Artist

Emily Moylan (she/her) is an educator, writer, and actor. She first worked with Young Playwrights as a student actor in the New Voices Festival back in 2013. Since then, she has deepened her involvement with Young Playwrights working as a teaching artist, administrator, dramaturg, actor, and stage manager. She also held the position of Teaching Artist Apprentice from 2017-2018. In addition to her work with Young Playwrights, she has worked with many theatre companies in the Greater Philadelphia area including Enchantment Theatre Company, Revolution Shakespeare, Delaware Theatre Company, and People's Light. When she's not working in theatre, Emily tutors students ranging K-12 in English Language Arts and standardized test prep at Huntington Learning Center in Springfield.

Emily has a B.A. in Theatre, with a concentration in Acting and a minor in English, from Temple University.
