Bob Stineman
Finance Manager
A member of the local theatre community since graduating college, Bob (he/him) has most recently been seen on stage at Bristol Riverside Theater, the Media Theatre, Buck County Center for the Performing Arts, and various productions in the annual Philadelphia Fringe Festival. He has been seen in numerous productions including Cabaret (Ernest), Mamma Mia (Harry), To Kill a Mockingbird (Atticus), The Crucible (Proctor), This is Not About 9/11 (The Voice, New York Premier), Soldier Bear (Petyr, World Premiere), The Bridges of Madison County (Bud), and Turn of the Screw (The Man). When not performing on stage, Bob serves as a bookkeeper and financial administrator for both for and not-for-profit businesses around the Philadelphia area. Though a role he stumbled into, his experience with finance has offered him the chance to serve as a managing director, office manager, AR/AP specialist, finance manager, and paralegal over the last 16 years. In addition to Philadelphia Young Playwrights, he can also be found working for other local theaters like Delaware Shakespeare Festival, Simpatico Theatre Project, Tiny Dynamite, Philadelphia Artists' Collective, and Inis Nua Theatre, as well as a handful of for-profit and not-for-profit businesses in the Philadelphia area. He holds a BFA in theatre arts with a focus in acting from the University of the Arts where he graduated with honors at the end of 2008. Bob has helped restructure and streamline billing, budgeting, and monthly financial record keeping for several different businesses and hopes that he has helped make all “this money stuff” less scary for the folks he’s worked with over the years. |
