The inaugural Advanced Playwriting Group was convened in July 2006, and will repeat each summer.
Based on teacher recommendations, a diverse group of student playwrights is selected, and meets each day for a week of advanced playwriting workshops facilitated by professional playwrights.
Student participants commit to developing a play or scene, to assisting peers in the development of their works and to sharing resulting works and the end of the Group session.
Participants visit professional theatre companies and play development conferences.

This year’s Summer Advanced Playwriting Ensemble is July 19 - July 30, 2010.
