On January 11, 2010, there was a successful off-broadway reading of 2009 Young Playwrights Inc. National Playwriting Competition Winner Emily Acker’s play Milk and Honey at the Cherry Lane Theatre. Originally submitted to Philadelphia Young Playwrights’ Annual Playwriting Festival, Milk and Honey will also be performed at Philadelphia Young Playwrights’ Professional Productions at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre, March 2-5.
